About Consulting
What can I consult you about?
Six areas: building quality assurance systems, data analysis, evaluating suppliers and contract manufacturers, start-up and scale-up, organization and people, and setting up overseas sites. Vague requests are welcome, even at the stage of “I don’t know where to start.”
Which industries and company sizes do you work with?
Mainly food and beverage production sites, and manufacturing in general. Please ask about company size individually.
What forms of engagement are available?
Three: spot consultation (one-off), advisory (ongoing advice), and on-site support (working alongside you through execution).
How are fees decided?
They vary with the content, duration and form of engagement. I will advise you after hearing your needs.
What is the process?
(1) Consultation (form) → (2) understanding the situation → (3) proposal → (4) implementation support.
Which areas do you cover, and is online consultation possible?
I am based in Japan and work through web meetings. Schedules are arranged individually and may fall in the evening (Japan time). Please ask separately about overseas business trips.
Will my information be kept confidential?
Under Article 45 of the Professional Engineer Act, a professional engineer must not divulge, without justifiable grounds, confidential information that came to their knowledge through their business. A non-disclosure agreement can be signed if needed.
